Hi everyone. I've caused a bit of confusion and just want to clear it up real quick - BackerKit has now charged credit cards for shipping and any add-ons people added on. The charges are showing as LMG Logistics. This is correct/nothing to worry about.

I, Chitin, started up Last Mile Game Logistics (LMG) to handle the North American fulfillment side of things when Stygian Fox first Kickstarted NTotMV (the first print-run). When setting up BackerKit, I had to connect it to a Stripe account, and, knowing that I would need to order all of the POD copies for North American Contributors (as well as shipping everything for contributors in North America), I used my LMG Stripe account.

Sorry for any concerns I might've caused people. I hope this clears that up for those that noticed and wondered about it. :) Back to the PDF spreadsheet now, as I want to get everyone's PDF copies sent first thing tomorrow morning.

Thanks,
Chitin Proctor

Backers should be receiving a 48-hour notice from BackerKit this morning, giving everyone 24 hours to review their orders. After that, changes won't be possible.

Once everything is locked down (Wed, June 8), we'll be charging credit cards for shipping and any add-ons that you might've selected.

Once things are successfully charged, we'll get PDFs out to everyone for NTotMV and any add-ons. This should be mid-June, at the latest, depending on how long BackerKit takes on this front.

Director Steve is also back from UK Games Expo, so I'll get the final counts over to him for NTotMV printing as well as all the POD titles that were added on. He has most of the POD titles in-house for non-US distribution already.

I believe that's it for this morning. As always, comment below, in the general comments, or feel free to email me directly at chitinproctor@yahoo.com and I'll do what I can. The next update will be once the books are scheduled for printing.

Thank you!

Surveys have been sent to 5% of our contributors, spread across all the pledge levels. This is BackerKit's way of making sure that we're happy with the information we're getting back. In this case, it's really only two things: DTRPG Address (for PDFs) and Physical Address (for Books). So I'm not expecting any issues.

We can't send the Surveys out to everyone until we're seeing some back from the Smoke Test, so if you received a survey today, please try to make time today or tomorrow to get it completed.

Also, we've included add-ons in the form of physical copies of nearly all our existing Call of Cthulhu titles. Add-ons will ship with the NTotMV books (so we're looking at July/August), but we've discounted them for BackerKit (so all of you and BackerKit's Pre-Order Store). PDFs of any add-ons will be sent out once the surveys are completed.

That's all for today. As always, any questions, concerns, or comments, please let us know. And we're looking at the start of next week for surveys to go out for everyone. Thank you, again, for backing this project.

Not much to report, but I've submitted our BackerKit stuff for formal review. Per BackerKit, this may take up to 2 business days, after which we should be able to send out a smoke test (a few surveys) to make sure it's getting us all the info we need. Once that's done, we'll be sending surveys out to everyone, hopefully by the end of next week.

These surveys basically ask what your DTRPG email address is (so we can send you any PDFs that you backed for) and your shipping address. It should also let you add on extra copies of NTotMV, copies of Occam's Razor, and pretty much any CoC title that we've released in the past.

That's it for today. I'll be back next week after I hear back from the review team and have the results of the smoke test.

Thank you,

First, thank you. Definitely great to see the second print run funded. Now, what next?

While waiting for Indiegogo to transfer the funds to us (minus their 5% platform fee and 2.9% and £0.20 transaction fees plus a £25 bank transfer fee), Steve and I will be working on finishing up things for BackerKit. Per Indiegogo, it may take up to 15 business days for the funds raised to reach the Stygian Fox bank account, so our goal is to send out surveys right after that happens.

Once the surveys are completed, we'll send out PDF copies for any backers due to receive them, as well as PDF copies of the Miskatonic Country Map Set. We've also made a lot of progress on some of the original Kickstarter's Stretch Goals, so we'll be sharing those with all of you at that time as well.

Also, once funds clear, we'll have Standartu start printing the book! Yay! As expected, paper prices have continued to rise, but, as that was expected, we're still set with the print run and getting everything to GMS Hobby Game Logistics in the UK. With 15 business days (3 weeks), we're looking at the print run starting right around May 1. In the past, it's taken roughly a month to receive the books (June 1). Their first order of business will be shipping a pallet to Last Mile Game Logistics, in the US, which, unfortunately, takes far longer than it used to. Even shipped the first week or two of June, I wouldn't expect it to arrive until August (1.5-2 months later). It's a relatively short container ship ride across the Atlantic and then a long wait time with freight consolidators waiting to de-consolidate the container it's in.

On the plus side, as soon as that pallet ships, GMS will start shipping out books for everyone who doesn't live in North America. I'm assuming this means you'll definitely have it well before August with a few exceptions. I'll talk more on shipping when we get closer to that date, though, as I'd like to do what I can to make things as easy as possible for you, GMS, and me, and it always seems like there's one country that is difficult.

I think that's it for today's Update. I really do want to thank you all again for helping make a second print run happen. I've scrolled through the contributor report (rather quickly) and I recognize quite a few names from past projects and/or emails and IMs and it means a lot...I don't know how to quite put it into words, actually. And for the names I don't recognize, I really appreciate you contributing to this campaign, too, and hopefully, we'll continue to see you in the future. :) As always, any questions, comments, or concerns, feel free to leave them in the comments below this update, in the general comments section, or reach out to me directly at chitinproctor@yahoo.com and I and the rest of the team will do what we can for you.

Thank you,
